Amochem Sdn. Bhd. was established in 1999 as a wholly own subsidiary company of Akashi Sdn. Bhd. for blending silicone emulsions and silicone antifoams. This set up is to enable Akashi to penetrate the local and export market competitively. With the formation of AB Far East Sdn. Bhd. on April 1st, 2005, Amochem has been transfer to the new joint venture company with BRB International b.v. Netherlands as the production arm.

Today, Amochem manufactures a wide product range for food and industrial use. We place great emphasis on R&D that aims at adding high value to all our products and creating new speciality products through intensified R&D and marketing activities and technology transfer from BRB.

The marketing of the products is handled by AB Far East Sdn Bhd, as well as all business units under Akashi Sdn. Bhd. (http://www.akashi.com.my).
